ISLAMABAD: It has been decided to incorporate unmarried women over the age of 35 into the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).
Details reveal that a meeting of the Sub-Committee of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) was held, during which committee member Bilal Mandooqhel stated that unmarried women are not currently included in the BISP.
Bilal Mandooqhel emphasized that the women most deserving of assistance are those who are unmarried and have no support system.
In response, BISP officials announced that unmarried women over the age of 35 are being included in the program.
