Govt decides to keep petroleum products prices unchanged

ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to keep the prices of petroleum products unchanged for the next month.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar while addressing a press conference in Islamabad said the government will give subsidy to maintain the prices. He added that there will be no changes in prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene oil and other products.

However, sources said that OGRA had recommended to cut patrol and high speed diesel prices by Re1/litre. But the government rejected the summary of OGRA and decided to keep the prices unchanged.

Dar said the prices will remain the same with diesel at 84 rupees, petroleum 74 rupees and kerosene oil and light diesel oil at 44 rupees per liter.
