Govt decides not to increase petroleum prices

Federal Minister for finance Ishaq Dar has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif always tried to provide relief to masses and the government has decided not to increase petroleum prices for the moth of June.

The government has decided not to increase petroleum prices this month as well. Talking to media in Islamabad the federal minister Ishaq Dar said that coming month the petroleum prices will not be raised due to holy month of Ramzan and the prices of petroleum goods will remain the same of previous month.

The minister said that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had recommended increase for the month of June and the government did not approve the summary adding that the government will bear 8.5 billion rupees burden for not increasing the prices.
