Karachi (May 19, 2017): Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq on Friday said that the Government did not demonstrate seriousness on Kulbhushan Jadhav’s issue, saying that the government failed on this issue too.Addressing lawyers at City Courts Karachi on the invitation of Karachi Bar Association, Haq said that it seemed Kulbhushan’s issue would be like of Raymond Davis, the CIA operative who shot death three Pakistanis in Lahore but subsequently released through a shady deal.
He also criticized the lethargic and prolong judicial proceeding, saying that one has to wait for justice for decades even in minor issues.
The JI chief said that Pakistan was founded for having a state based on Islamic ideology not for better economic system.
He criticized Sindh government for ignoring Karachi’s issues, vowing that JI would fight for Karachiites’ rights and resolution of their issues.
The ceremony was also addressed by President KBA Naeem Quraishi and others.
