Islamabad: The government efforts on the matters of extension in Judges employment tenure have entered decisive phase.
The government has summoned a seperate session of both the house of parliament upper and lower .
Both the houses of the parliament didn’t include constitutional amendment while it is likely that supplementary motion will be presented for the constitutional amendment and legislation .
Under the amendemnt there is a suggestion to extend the retirement age to 68 years while the age of high court judges will be extended to 65 years.
In case of an amendment Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa will remain on his seat for three years.
