Govt has spread grief, sorrow and hatred in people: Sheikh Rasheed

Islamabad: Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that the government has spread grief, sorrow and hate in the people.

Talking to media outside the district and session court in Islamabad, former federal minister and senior politician Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that the smog has turned lives of the people paralyzed.

He said that the businesses have already are on verge of collapse.

The political stalwart said that today magistrate Yasir Mahmood has set free him in this case now 14 cases have left in the anti terrorism court.

He said that all the things must be shutdown as a solution to the smog .

He said that wrath has been put on the people of the country on the matter of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

He said that he has complete trust on Chief Justice Yahya Afridi of the Supreme Court (SC) that he will let judiciary independent.

Earlier, a district and session court of Islamabad has ordered releasing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan and other leaders in a bail petition of the case registered for violation of section 144, amplifier act.

Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mahmood heard the bail petition of case registered against the PTI leadership and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed in the violation of section 144 and amplifier act.

Judge Yasir Mahmood pronouncing the verdict of the case set free founding chairman of the PTI Imran Khan, Asad Qaiser, Saif Ullah Niazi, Sheikh Rasheed, Sadaqat Abbassi, Faisal Javed Khan and Ali Nawaz.

The FIR of the case was registered on August 20, 2022 in police station Abpara.
