Govt is not ready to go forward on serious issues: Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman

Islamabad: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman has said that the government is not ready to go forward on serious issues.

Addressing a presser in Islamabad, JI Chief Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that law and order situation in the country is bad adding there is a need of dialogue for resolution of issues.

Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that the incident happened in Balochistan yesterday was condemnable as our soldiers embraced martyrdom. He said that problems have to be solved through making a policy.

He said that forming of more check posts or increasing the number of deployments of soldiers are not solution to the problem.

He said “Law and order situation directly impacts our economy.”

The JI Chief said that the problem will not solve with statements from government and institutions.

He said that his party will play every possible effort for establishment of peace. He said that the Pakistan can’t warrant unrest.

He said that the government has its narrative that inflation was decreasing while he questioned that in which thing people were getting relief ?

He said that the government negotiated with the International Power Producers (IPPs) and closed some of it which is good.

He said that impact of closure of the IPPs must be pass on the people and there should be decrease in the prices of electricity.

He said that on one way the government denied bringing up of a mini budget on the other hand it is being talked about presenting of a mini budget.

For citizens every day brings a mini budget, he said.

The JI Chief said ” The government makes the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest successful through its initiatives before the protest.”

He said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are indulged in collusive wrestling.
