Lahore: For the first time additional fares taken by transporters returned to passengers in Punjab.
The additional fares were returned owing to an operation ordered by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz to decrease the fares of the transports on occasion of Eid Ul Azha.
The passengers wondered on the return of their money. Due to operation passengers were returned a sum of Rs 14,66,921.
Moreover, the transporters were fined a sum of Rs 27,84,500 as well.
