Islamabad: The government has announced substantial reduction in the petroleum products for the next fortnightly starting May 16 12 am.
The government has decreased prices of petrol by Rs 15.39 per litre as per the notification issued in this regard.
Light Diesel prices have been reduced by Rs 7.5f4 per litre besides that kerosene oil prices declined by Rs 9.86 per litre.
On the other hand high speed diesel prices slashed by Rs 7. 88
The new rates will be applicable from intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday at 12 am.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary of prices for next fortnightly to the finance Ministry.
The finance Ministry on the approval of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has issued notification for decrease in the petroleum prices.
After reduction new price of petrol turned 273.10, prices of high speed diesel, 274.08, light diesel prices 161.17.
Besides kerosene oil new prices after decline turned 173.48.
