Islamabad: Government has rejected a summary to end autonomy of National Accountability Bureau of Pakistan (NAB).
The graft buster body (NAB) had sent a summary to the Ministry of law and justice to declare service of the NAB into Civil Service Occupational Group.
In response to the anti-corruption body, the law ministry said that the employment of the NAB can not be declared as civil servants.
The government also rejected the suggestion to end the autonomy of the Chairman NAB.
