Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday apprised the nation and world that the government has taken action against Tehreek-labaik Pakistan (TLP) under the anti-terrorism act.
On Saturday morning, the PM in his tweet on social media micro blogging site twitter informed that the TLP had challenged the writ of the state and resorted to torture to people on roads during its violent protest, masses and law enforcement agencies were subjected to torture.
Let me make clear to people here & abroad: Our govt only took action against TLP under our anti-terrorist law when they challenged the writ of the state and used street violence & attacking the public & law enforcers. No one can be above the law and the Constitution.
