Islamabad: Federal Minister for Finance Hammad Azhar has announced that the government will decrease petroleum prices by Rs 1. 50 for coming 15 days.
In his presser after Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting, the Minister said that the government will decreases prices of diesel by Rs 3.
Hammad Azhar said that as many as five lakh ton sugar will be imported from India adding that he will take measures to lower inflation in the country.
He said that he will take guidance from both the past foriegn minister Hafeez Shaikh and Asad Umar who had major role in bringing economic stability in the country.
The Minister also thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for entrusting him for the key ministry.
