A major development has taken place for students enrolled in matriculation and intermediate classes. According to details, the Inter Boards Coordination Committee (IBCC) has introduced a grading system nationwide instead of traditional numerical marks.
Chairman IBCC, Ghulam Ali Mela, stated that in the year 2024, students of the ninth and eleventh grades will be awarded grades instead of numerical marks, aligning with the prevalent grading systems worldwide.
He emphasized the importance of providing quality education to children by shifting away from the race for numerical marks. The alternative grading system is anticipated to be more beneficial for students, offering a departure from the conventional numeric scoring system.
