Hyderabad: Provincial Minister for information and transport Sharjeel Memon has said that the recent rains have brought destruction across the province adding that more than 250 mm rains lashed in the Hyderabad district in just three days.
Provincial Minister Sharjeel Memon was talking to media over his visit to Tulsi Das Pumping station in taluqa city Hyderabad along with Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad.
The provincial minister said that all the ministers residing their areas are constantly supervising the situation emitted out after the rains, sewerage and relief work.
Sharjeel Memon said that the situation of low lying areas of Hyderabad are the worst adding that however sewerege work in the area is continued and the work will continue until complete sewerage of the rain water.
The Minister said that growers have faced a loss of worth billions of rupees owing to the recent heavy rains while he said that we are with our people and wanted help of the federal government for provision of relief to rain afectees.

He said that Chief Minister Sindh are visiting various parts of the province and reviewing the situation after the rains and after reviewing all the damages and losses will work on initiatives for redressal.
The minister said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will not at all leave their people alone in the testing time.
On a querry, he responded that after 24 hours the condition of Hyderabad will improve substantially and in this regard a meeting is being held to review the situation and announcement will be made for declaring miserable areas
Talking on ex-premier, Sharjeel Memon said that Imran Khan Niazi is hypocrite and liar who is blackmailing all the institutions of the country. The Minister said that Imran wanted that he should not face the fate of Shahbaz Gill.
He said that there are lot of mistakes in the nomination papers of Imran Khan while he demanded that same legal procedure should be taken as with the others.
Sharjeel Memon said that he will apprise that he will inform carelessness and negligence of respective officers of municipility of Hyderabad to the Chif Minister Sindh
Besides that the minister visited Fatah Chowlk, Muhammadi Chowlk, Faqer Kapar, Tala Chari and other areas of Hyderabad in detail.
The minister lauded the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Fawad Ghafar Soomro for draining out rain water during the heavy downpour in the city while he also ordered the respective officers of other areas to drain out rain water as early as possible.
