D.I.KHAN: Gunfire was opened on a Levies vehicle, resulting in the deaths of 5 individuals, including 4 Levies personnel.
The Assistant Commissioner stated that in the Dera Ismail Khan Tehsil of Daraban, Khanozai Levies personnel, along with a private driver, were on their way to recover a stolen truck when they were attacked. Following the attack, the vehicle caught fire.
According to the Assistant Commissioner of Kharizaat, as a result of the attack on the Khanozai Levies vehicle, 4 Levies personnel and 5 individuals in total were killed.
The Assistant Commissioner further stated that the bodies of the deceased Levies personnel have been transferred to the Daraband hospital, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
