Gwadar: First flight of national carrier Pakistan International air line (PIA)landed at Gwadar international airport.
The PIA flight PK-503 arrived at Gwadar International Airport from Karachi. After which the Gwadar International Airport completely got functional.
The flight has been given water salute as a first flight landing at the airport.
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Chief Minister Balochistan along with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and PIA high officials were attended the ceremony and witnessed the landing of the plane at the airport.
The airport will facilitate as many as 4,00000 people.
The new Gwadar international airports is flagship project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
