Karachi: Ameer Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi, Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman has demanded the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) to solve egregious problem of gas load shedding on preferential basis.
Addressing a sit-in outside the SSGC office today, Thursday, Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that if the SSGC not solve the gas problems then will hold sit-in on a large scale.
The JI Karachi chief said that women are present here in anger and ready to close the roads as well.
He said that women from different parts of the city are attending the protest along with their children.
He said that the masses are already disturbed with high amount of electricity and gas bills. He stressed the Karachiites to get united vote for the tarazo which is the symbol and the sign of children future.
He said that marketers be rejected and vote on the development sign of tarazo adding that if we get power of 90 seats from Karachi then we will see who will stop gas and electricity for the people of Karachi.
He said that a committee of the party will monitor the load-shedding and if the problem not solved then will hold bigger sit-in.
Hafiz Naeem demanded the SSGC to solve gas issues where people are suffer the most on a prefrential basis.
He demanded the SSGC to form a committee to solve the people problems joining together.He said that the JI’s public aid committee and UC chairman’s are also present.
He said that a committee be formed for solving of the people basic problems joining together.
