Islamabad (July 15, 2017): The first Hajj flight would depart to Madina from Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad on July 24, said Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith on Friday.
The flight operation for departure of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia will start from July 24. The month long pre Hajj flights operation would culminate on August 26.
For the return of pilgrims, the flight operation will start from September 6 and last until October 6. A total of four airlines including Pakistan International Airlines, Saudi Airlines, Air Blue and Shaheen Air would participate in the operation.
Intending pilgrims have been directed to check their respective departing schedule on ministry’s website. www.hajjinfo.org. Over 107,000 faithful would perform the sacred ceremony of Hajj this year.
