Half of players playing PSL are ready to travel to Lahore for final: Shehryar Khan

LAHORE: Chairman, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Shehryar Khan, on Tuesday said that half of the players playing Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Dubai were ready to travel to Lahore for the final of the show-piece event.

Talking to media, the PCB chairman said that PSL final would be held in Lahore at any cost.  He added that there was security risk, but the security forces would take better security  arrangements.

The PCB chairman visited Gadafi stadium to review arrangements for the PSL final. He added that final of PSL in Lahore would be a mega event.

He added that cricket fans were eager and passionate for PSL final in Lahore. He added that PSL chairman Najam Sethi was in Dubai to talk to foreign players and persuade them to play final in Lahore.

He added that successful holding of PSL final in Lahore would send positive and strong message to cricket playing countries.

To a question he said that they were receiving calls regarding final’s tickets and complementary passes from fans and spectators. He said that within two day the PCB would make announcement about places/points, where tickets and passes would be available.
