ATTOCK: Convicted felon and former politician Hanif Abbasi has been shifted to a hospital after his health deteriorated at Attock jail.
According to details, Attock jail officials have moved Hanif Abbasi to Sir Ganga Ram hospital after his health condition suddenly worsened.
It is to be noted that CNS Court of Rawalpindi had sentenced former politician to lifetime in prison just before the July 25 general elections.
Hanif Abbasi was found guilty in a case registered by ANF against him and his accomplices in June 2012 under sections 9-C, 14 and 15 of the Control of Narcotics Substances (CNS) Act for misuse of 500kg of ephedrine.
