ABU DHABI: Peshawar Zalmi has qualified for the final four round of the HBL PSL 4 on Tuesday.
As per details, in an important encounter of PSL 4 Peshawar Zalmi defeated Lahore Qalandars by four wickets and qualified for the round four of the tournament.
Lahore Qalandar opted to bat first and could only score 124 runs in 20 overs. Haris Sohail was the team’s top scorer by scoring 43 runs.
Peshawar Zalmi’s Tymal Mills took three, and Sameen Gul took 2 wickets in the match.
While chasing the target of 125 runs Zalmi lost its 5 wickets on just 20 runs. However, Misbah-ul-Haq and captain Darren Sammy partnered for 100 runs and propelled Zalmi towards victory.
Misbah scored 59 runs and remained not out while Sammy scored 46 runs and returned to the pavilion in the last over.
Misbah-ul-Haq remained the top scorer in the match and claimed man of the match award.
