Multan: A head to head contest likely on NA-148 Multan between Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) big wig Yousuf Raza Gillani and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Ahmed Hussain Dehar in the general election on February 8.
In the prvious elections 2018, Malik Ahmed Hussain Dehar had won the election with 74,220 votes by defeating PPP Abdul Qadir Gillani who was runner up with 64,257 number of votes.
This time Ahmed Hussain has joined the PML-N while his opponent is prvious candidate’s father, Yousuf Raza Gillani is in the run for the elections.
The chances are high for the PML-N candidate as he was the past winner and parted ways the PTI after May-9 incident.
