Lahore: Acting Provincial health Minister Javed Akram has said that the health card introduced by previous government of the PTI has been used in Punjab wrongly.
Dr Javed Akram was holding a presser along with information minister Amir Mir in Lahore, he said that owing to which junior doctors started to conduct by pass surgery, which is a major surgery in private hospitals.
He further apprised that the junior doctors they put three stints mesuring an inch instead of 3 inches stint in the by pass surgery.
They said that a caretaker government has no any political ambitions. While they said that holding of elections is not an our responsibility.
Dr Javed Akram said that the provincial government is not abolishing health cards and now identity card is the health card.
He said such news regarding the abolishing the health card are wrong and the treatment of the poor is not stopped and now the health card facility will be given free only for those who cannot afford.
Javed Akram said people became billionaires with health cards designed for the convenience of the poor.
He said there was no check and balance on health card and national treasury would pay as much as the doctor prescribes the expenses and prices of medicines.
He said Punjab government is going to create its own data of poor people.
