Islamabad: Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal on Monday, today said that Pakistan is heading towards the Universal Health Coverage.
In his message on on the occasion of World Health day, today, Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal vowed that he will bring doctors and medicines on the doorsteps of the people.
Syed Mustafa Kamal said that as many as 54 percent population enjoy basic health services in the country.
The Minister apprised that we are heading towards the telemedicine for ensuring treatment facilities to the masses.
Elaborating on the upcoming measures in the health ministry, Kamal informed that measures are being taken to increase numbers of the nurses.
He apprised that we are going to introduce the one patient-one ID system.
He said that he has his efforts that every mother and every new born will get upbringing with a good health everywhere.
