Islamabad: Supreme Court hearing on the petitions filed against the SC practice and procedure act 2023 postponed.
The top court has ordered all the respondents to complete their arguments till Monday.
Chief Justice SC Qazi Faez Esa remarked that some judges think that the authority of the parliament and Chief Justice are face to face while some don’t think so.
He said that today this law effect particularly Chief Justice and two senior judges. He went on to say that if the parliament does something then everyone remembers the oath when a martial law imposes then they forget the oath.
The CJ categorically said that those who play with the constitution will not be allowed to play with the country.
