DUBAI: A tragic traffic collision in the UAE has claimed the lives of four young brothers and a domestic worker from an Indian Muslim family.
The accident took place near Al Shamha on the Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway as the family was returning from the Leva Festival. While the parents and one child survived and are currently hospitalized, the four brothers tragically lost their lives in the crash.
The victims include four brothers aged between 5 and 14 years, along with a 48-year-old housemaid working for the family. The children were students enrolled in a Dubai school.
The deceased children have been laid to rest in the UAE, and the housemaid’s body will be sent to her native Kerala for funeral rites.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to ascertain the reasons behind the accident and are examining all possible factors involved.
