Heavy down pours predicted as cyclone Asna likely to hit coastal belt of country today

Karachi: The tropical cyclone Asna feared to hit coastal belt of the country today will cause heavy downpours in Sindh.

Chief Meteorologists Sardar Sarfaraz said that the cyclone tropical storm has left at 200 Km away from Karachi.

He apprised that it can land at Pakistan coastal belt today owing to which heavy downpours expected in Karachi, Thatha, Hyderabad, Tharparkar and Badin.

The educational institutions are closed in Karachi and Hyderabad.While educational institutions are also closed today in Badin, Tando Muhmmad Khan.

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed respective officials to be prepared for the storm.
