Karachi: Heavy and stormy rains started to lash in outskirts areas of Karachi while torrential rain kicked off various localities in Karachi as well.
Heavy downpour is lashing in Karachi outskirts areas of Superhighway, Noriabad, Bahria Town.
Later, rains also commenced in different parts of Karachi which included, North Karachi, Liaqutabad, F.B area.
In the northern part of Bahria Town, Karachi (Precinct 31), a spell of heavy rain has just begun.

Besides that torrential rains also reported in Scheme 33, Malir, and Safora neighborhoods of the city.
The met department has said that the air low pressure coming from India has intensified and turned into a depression which is currently present at South-West Rajishthan.
Owing to effect of this system the strong moonson winds are entering Sindh.
Whereas heavy rains with thunderstorm is likely to lash in Karachi from today evening till September 11 with equal interval of time.
The met department has warned that the low lying areas in Karachi, Thatha, Badin, Sujuwal and Hyderabad could come under the rainwater.
On the other hand, urban flooding is feared in Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Tharparkar, Khairpur, Sukkur and Larkana.
