Heavy to light rains continue to lash in Karachi for next 3 to 4 days

Karachi: Intermittent heavy to light rains are continued to lash in Karachi from intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.

The highest quantity of rains recorded in Quaidabad.

Whereas the meteorological department apprising likeliness of further intense rains said that the rains will continue to pour next three to four days.

The met department apprised that monsoon system will likely to be intensified after August 28.

In these days it is likely that 150 mm rains will lash in Karachi, the met department informed.

The met department also issued figures of rain in Karachi from last night to today’s morning.

The highest amout of rains lashed in Qauidabad of 52 mm, Gulshan-e-Hadeed 48 mm, North Karachi 29.8 mm, Nazimabad 26 mm, Surjani Town 25.4, Shara-e-faisal 16 mm, Kemari 16 mm.

Besides that Old airport 12.6 mm, Gulshan-e-Maymar 16.4, Jinnah Terminal 11.2, Bin Qasim 11mm, DHA 11mm, Orangi Town 7 mm, Mauri Pur 4 mm.

The met department informed that the ongoing rains system is comming from Indian Gujrat . As many as 6 inches of rains have poured in Gujrat city of Ahmedabad.

Whereas 270 mm of rains have lashed in Baroda city owing to which the Indian government has issued red alert.
