Karachi: A 16-year-old housemaid was allegedly raped and died during treatment in the Jinnah Hospital Karachi on Tuesday.
As per the hospital administration the girl, Sonia was admitted to the hospital on Sunday night after her condition deteriorated, she died during the treatment today.
The girl’s mother apprised that her girl was a maid in Gulshan-e-Iqbal 13-C, on Sunday when she came home her condition was critical.
She hurled an accusation that the owner of the house was not present and his sons found the maid alone raped her and later poisoned her.
The police officials said that a post-mortem of the girl is underway as the report appears the reason for her death will be ascertained.
