Badin (June 14, 2018): The dissident leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and former speaker National Assembly Fahmida Mirza denying to lend any kind of loan and said that she was not a loan defaulter.
“ECP will announce the decision over my nomination papers tomorrow, however, I have some reservation over it, therefore I appeal to Chief Justice to look into my case,” Fahmida Mirza said in a press conference on Thursday in Badin.

She mentioned that she was fighting against mafia, which misused the administration and used cruel behaviour with the people of Sindh.
“Opponents are trying to find out cases against me, however, they did not find anything,” she said adding that opponents were raising the allegation against her which have never happened.
After the scrutiny State Bank of Pakistan has sent the list of 277 defaulters to ECP as the Dr Fahmida Mirza name is also included in the list.
Fahmida Mirza has submitted nomination papers on the ticket of Per Pagara’s Grand Democratic Alliance for 2018 general election.
