Rawalpindi: Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that Imran Khan has evidences regarding conspiracy hatched against him.
Talking to media outside the poly clinic hospital today after his arrest, the chief of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid said that he didn’t drink alcohol ever in his lifetime. He was commenting on the police claims that he was arrested drunk.
Expressing fear for his life, seasoned politician said that he has life threats while he levelled allegations on Federal Interior Minister Rana Sana Ullah of taking revenge from him.
Sheikh Rashid apprised that he is on bail till February 6 while he informed the media that he was arrested without any warrant.

Whereas he also alleged that the police personnel conducted vandalization in his house, searched and behaved badly.
He also said that his maids were also beaten by the police.
Earlier, on intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday he was taken into custody by police in Rawalpindi.
His nephew Rashid Shafiq appriesed that a heavy contingent reached the residence of AML chief Sheikh Rashid located in a private housing society of Rawalpindi and arrested him. He also alleged that police have not informed the family in which case Sheikh Rashid has been taken into custody.
Police have shifted Sheikh Rashid to Abpara Police Station after the arrest where an FIR (First Information Report) was registered against him on complaint of Raja Inayat Rehman, the vice president of PPP’s Rawalpindi division for accusing former president Asif Ali Zardari of plotting the assassination of PTI chief Imran Khan.
