UN nuclear watchdog International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has expressed satisfaction with Iran for commitment towards implementation of its nuclear agreement with world powers last year.
Iran’s IRNA news agency IRNA quoted Director General of IAEA Yukiya Amano as saying that he is satisfied with the implementation of the (agreement) and that he hopes that this process will continue.
IRNA quoted Amano as saying that Iran has been committed to its part of the agreement so far and this is important, IRNA quoted quoted Amano after his meeting Iran’s nuclear energy chief Ali Akbar Salehi.
Under the deal last year iran slowed down nuclear production activities in return for lifting of economic sanctions.
It may be mentioned here that US President-elect Donald Trump had promised to scrap the deal.
