Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) board meeting scheduled today for determination of its location could not decided the matter.
Sources said that the meeting schedule today remained short while the meeting has been canclled till tomorrow.
During the meeting Pakistan stuck to its position regarding a hybrid modal while Pakistan briefed the meeting about its point of view and showed no any relaxation.
It is likely that acceptable formula for the ICC champions trophy can be surfaced tomorrow.
It is likely that the decision of holding of the ICC champions trophy will be conducted through a voting.
Pakistan categorically has said that match with India on a neutral venue is not acceptable. Whether be the champions trophy will be held in Pakistan or under hybrid model.
Pakistan has called acceptable formula of the trophy before the holding up of the board meeting.
The PCB chairman has informed its points of view to the ICC.
Mohsin Naqvi said that we will tolerate wound but will not compromise on our dignity and respect.
The PCB has completed all the preparations of the champions trophy but the matter got entangle due to India.
