Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 will begin today in Dubai.
The tournament will feature 150 of the world’s top players, with 10 teams competing in 23 matches across the renowned Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Dubai International Stadium.
The opening match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will see Bangladesh face off against newcomers Scotland.
In Group A, Pakistan will face Sri Lanka in a highly anticipated rematch of their recent Asia Cup semi-final.
Meanwhile, Group B promises intense competition, with South Africa and England set to clash on October 7.
The semi-finals will be held on October 17 and 18, with the grand finale on October 20.
Group A
Pakistan has been placed in Group A of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, alongside Australia, India, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka.
Group B
South Africa, meanwhile, will compete in Group B, featuring England, Bangladesh, Scotland, and the West Indies.
