KARACHI: International Cricket Council’s (ICC) team of consultants on Saturday visited National Stadium Karachi and reviewed the security arrangements of the stadium ahead of PSL.
As per details, the ICC team of security experts visited the National Stadium of Karachi to review the arrangements of the security.
The team found the arrangements of the stadium’s security satisfactory.
Nearly 13,000 security officials have been deployed for the purpose including 250 commandos and women officials. 500 shuttles will be used to transport the spectators from the entrance to the stadium’s watching spot.
Viewing the security conditions, a full dress rehearsal has also been planned.
Security has been divided into five layers who will be in the control room for monitoring all scenarios using the installed CCTVs. Four checkpoints have been made for the spectators.
Moreover, all spectators have been instructed to enter the stadium two hours prior to the match. They have also been forbidden to bring any eating or drinking item inside the stadium.
It is pertinent to mention here that the HBL PSL 4’s super four round is set to play from today.
