Colombo: Pakistani bowler Nashra Sandhu has etched her name in history through a remarkable performance at the ICC Women’s World Cup.
During the match against Australia in the 2025 ICC Women’s World Cup on Wednesday, spinner Nashra Sandhu showcased an exceptional display, claiming three crucial wickets. Her brilliant bowling sent Australia’s Ellyse Perry, Anna Bell Sutherland, and Tahlia McGrath back to the pavilion.
With these three wickets against the Kangaroos Nashra Sandhu has become Pakistan’s highest wicket-taker in the history of the ICC Women’s World Cup.
In total, Nashra has now taken 20 wickets across 16 World Cup matches, surpassing the previous record held by former Pakistan captain Sana Mir, who claimed 17 wickets in 18 matches.
