IHC Adjourns Hearing On Bail Plea Of Shehzad Ali Till July 17

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday heard a case pertaining to a bail plea filed by accused Shehzad Ali in ongoing fake bank accounts probe and adjourned the case’s hearing till July 17.

A two-member bench of the IHC comprised on Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mian Gul Hassan heard the case related to a bail plea filed by accused Shehzad Ali in ongoing fake bank accounts probe.

As the hearing went underway, accused counsel Lateef Khosa told the court that the matter is 2015 and no warrant has been issued and acquiring a bail is my client’s legal right.

The accused counsel told the court that the bail plea of his client was rejected besides the former president Asif Ali Zardari.

Lateef Khosa told the court that his client has never been a beneficiary and I was just assigned to deposit cheques.

Khosa told the court that his client is accused of purchasing machinery with Abid Hussain who is no more in this world and the transactions were made with the accounts of latter.

The court after a short hearing adjourned the case’s hearing till July 17.
