Islamabad: Political leader Fawad Chaudhry has gotten relief from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) as court allowed him to travel abroad for two weeks.
The IHC Chief Justice Amir Farooq heard Fawad Chaudhry petition seeking permission for traveling abroad.
The IHC has ordered the Interior Ministry to remove his name from Exit Control List (ECL) on temporary basis.
Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry has been allowed the court to visit foreign countries from July 10 to August 24.
Deputy Attorney General has sought time for submitting his reply in the court.
Earlier, the court had heard the petition for removing Fawad Chaudhry name from the ECL on July 5 while the court also had called the interior ministry representative in the court on July 9
