ISLAMABAD: The Federal Intelligence Agency (FIA) on Wednesday decided not to extend the travel ban imposed on Omni Group Chairman Anwar Majeed’s daughters-in-law Sara and Noor Nimr Majeed.
As per details, the FIA told the court that the agency has chosen not to seek an extension in travel ban of the daughters-in-law of Omni Group’s Chairman Anwar Majeed.
The court had summoned the FIA’s to seek its response on its decision to restrict the two females of Omni Group Chairman’s family from travelling abroad at an earlier hearing. As the hearing went underway today, FIA’s Additional Director-General Ahmed Mukarram told the court that after the 30-day ban expired, the agency was choosing not to seek an extension in their travel ban.
The court then after the assurance by FIA ordered to remove the names of Anwar Majeed’s daughters-in-law names from the travel ban list.
Sara Tareen Majeed is the wife of Ali Majeed while Noor Nimr Majeed is the wife of Nimr Majeed. Both are the son of Omni Group’s Chairman Anwar Majeed.
