Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to file his petition in the session court while his non bailable arrest warrant will retain.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq of the IHC pronounced the reserved verdict in the case.
The IHC disposed of Imran Khan petition challenging his non bailable arrest warrants in the thoshakhna case. The court instructed the PTI chief to submit his affadavit in a trial court.
The CJ said that the trial court will look into former premier affidavit in the case,.
Earlier, IHC has reserved the verdict on the suspension of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan non-bailable arrest warrants.
Chief Justice IHC Justice Amir Farooq heard the petition today (Wednesday).
The CJ IHC remarked that the country has become a police state adding that both the sides of agitation are our children.
Justice Amir Farooq said that either police or activists of political parties both are our children.
Additional Attorney General Munawar Iqbal Dagal opposed the suspension of the arrest warrants.
The Court asked Imran Khan counsel Khawaja Haris that what is happening in Lahore is it right?
Khawaja Harris said that whatever happening in Lahore is happening wrong as well.
