ISLAMABAD: The Registrar of the Islamabad High Court has issued the roster for the upcoming week, the names of three judges transferred from three other High Courts in Pakistan have been included in the new week’s cause list
According to the new cause list, Justice Sarfraz Dogar, who has come from the Lahore High Court, has been included in Bench No. 2 for the seniority position.
Previously, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani, who led Bench No. 2, will now head Bench No. 3 of the Islamabad High Court starting tomorrow.
In the single bench list, Justice Sarfraz Dogar is placed second, and Justice Mohsin is placed third.
Justice Khadim Hussain Somro, who has come from the Sindh High Court, is listed at number 9, and Justice Asif, who has come from the Balochistan High Court, is listed at number 11. It is worth noting that two days ago, five judges of the Islamabad High Court, in their letter, stated that the transferred judges would need to take a new oath, and their seniority would begin from that day.
