ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has issued notices to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Federal Investigation Agency about Tosha khana and Cipher suspension case.
The Islamabad High Court has ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to appeal against the verdicts of the trial court in the Cipher and Tosha Khana cases of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf founder Imran Khan and suspend the sentence. While issuing the notice, they asked for a response by Thursday, February 29, while the court also issued notices for Thursday on the appeals of co-criminals Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Bushra Bibi.
A two-member special division bench comprising Chief Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb upheld the court’s verdicts of 10 and 10 years in prison for founder PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the Cipher case.
