ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court has directed the government to establish a commission to investigate blasphemy cases
During a hearing on petitions seeking the formation of a commission to investigate blasphemy allegations, justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq of Islamabad High Court presided over the proceedings.
The court approved the petitions and ordered the federal government to form the commission. t instructed the government to establish the commission within 30 days. Additionally, the court stated that the commission should complete its proceedings within four months of formation.The court also noted that if the commission requires additional time, it may approach the court for extension.
