Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday ordered former chief judge Rana Shamim to submit his affidavit

Chief Justice of IHC Athar Minallah heard a contempt of court petition against ex-chief judge Rana Shamim. Rana Shamim owing to his illness could not attend the hearing.
Attorney General insisted the court that Rana Shamim be directed to submit his affidavit while a list of witnesses should also be taken from Rana Shamim adding that after getting the affidavit and the list of witnesses then proceeding will move forward.
The court ordered Rana Shamim to provide the copy of the affidavit before next hearing. In the last, the court accepted the request of Rana Shamim counsel to adjourn the hearing today.
The court adjourned the hearing till March 7.
