Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday ordered to stop the cipher case trial in Adiala jail against Pakistan Tehreeke-Insaf chief Imran Khan and vice-chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
The court has issued a prohibition order on the petition of the PTI chief. While the court also issued stay order against the jail trial.
Justice Mian Gul Hassan and Justice Seeman Rifat heard the PTI chief petition seeking stoppage of jail trial in the cipher case.
The court has ordered the official secret act court to stop the hearing of the case till November 16.
The divisional bench of the IHC rejected the insistence of the attorney general not to issue stay order in the case.
