A bail petition of Moazzam Ali, an accused in Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq murder case, has been rejected by Islamabad High Court (IHC).
A two member bench of (IHC) consisting up of Justice Athar Min Ullah and Justice Noor Ul Haq Qureshi announced reserved judgment over the bail plea of the accused.
The short judgment announced by the IHC stated that the accused has an allegation of providing financial aid to main accused in the Imran Farooq murder case, Khalid Shamim, Mohsin Ali and Kashif and henceforth bail could not be granted to the accused.
Before that a trial court also had rejected the bail plea of the accused.
The accused had filed plea for bail and the court after hearing the arguments from both the sides had reserved the decision on June 1.
