Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday stopped arrest of Awami Muslim Leatgue (AML) Chief Shaikh Rashid under the cases against him over the long march.
The IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah heard the petition filed by Shaikh Rashid over registration of cases against him pertaining to the long march on May 25.
The IHC questioned that did Shaikh Rashid de-notify yet? (meaning is he member of National Assembly (NA), to which Shaikh Rashid replied that his is still member of the NA and despite that they (police) make a new case against him daily.
The CJ remarked that the MNA should not be entertained in this manner and stopped the police arresting the AML Chief Shaikh Rashid Ahmed.
Shaikh Rashid Media Talk Outside IHC
Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Shaikh Rashid Talking to media outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has declared the current month of June as decisive adding that said the country is heading towards an economic crisis.
Former interior minister said that the rulers are playing a game of tv, tv. He also lambasted on Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, said that Rana Sanaullah has become rogue adding that the governments never establish for good. He said that on the behest of Rana Sanaullah his sisters houses have been raided thrice.
Shaikh Rashid said that Foreign Minister is still on foreign tours and didn’t go to his office still.
He said that the government has made doomsday inflation after increasing petroleum prices by Rs 60 in seven days time while electricity prices hike by Rs 8.
He said that six power plants are closed and load shedding of 16 hours are continued while he said that the people are dyeing from summer heat.
The ex-minister said that foreign reserves have lowered to Nine billion dollars. The senior politician said that Moody’s has changed our status to negative in which an economy first default and an economy of the country later. He said that trade deficit has reached a point which is higher than 60 years history of the country.
The leader belonging to one of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, said that the existing coalition government is in state of sorrow.
He said that this government can’t run adding that the one who made the master plan of bringing this government into the power has served Imran Khan.
He said that the government has made loot for increasing the prices of sugar and making their men minister.
The people exhausted by inflation will be stand shoulder to shoulder with Imran Khan against the government on the roads.
He referring to Rana Sanaullah said that the ministries never last for long. Shaikh Rashid said that this government can’t run even it turned upside down adding that there is no precedent of what happened on April 25 in Islamabad.
