ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court is scheduled to hear a miscellaneous petition related to Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri’s academic degree on Tuesday. The petition, filed by the Islamabad Bar Association, requests access to the case records pertinent to the matter.
According to the court’s timetable, a division bench consisting of Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar and Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro will oversee the proceedings. The Registrar’s Office of the Islamabad High Court has also released the official cause list, confirming the hearing of the miscellaneous petition.
The upcoming session is expected to primarily focus on reviewing the availability and inspection of the relevant documentation, which is crucial to the ongoing controversy surrounding Justice Jahangiri’s educational credentials.
