Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) to hear a plea seeking Prime Minister Imran Khan disqualification from tomorrow, Wednesday.
The divisional bench comprises of chief justice Islamabad High Court Athar Minallah and justice Mian Gul Hassan to hear the case, filed by a citizen Hafiz Ahtesham.
The petitioner requested the court that to start the hearing of his petition filed on August 2, 2018, for the disqualification of PM Imran Khan.
On August 2, 2018, the petitioner hailed from former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry’s Justice and Democratic Party and his case is that since Imran Khan did not reveal the identity of his daughter Tyrian White, he is neither ‘Sadiq’ nor ‘Ameen’ and should be declared disqualified to run for public office.
He pleaded that Imran should be declared disqualified because he did not disclose that he had a daughter as a result of his “relations with Ana-Luisa (Sita) White, a wealthy lady who was the daughter of the late Lord Gordon White, head of the American arm of the giant industrial conglomerate Hanson PLC.”
